Monthly Subsctiptions

Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled by the 8th of each month by emailing If you contact us after the 8th, we will cancel your subscription starting with the next month. You will still be charged and will receive your box for the current month.

3-, 6- and 12-Month Subsctiptions

3-, 6- and 12-month subscriptions are prepaid subscriptions, which means that they incur a full one-time payment at the time the order is placed for the entire cost of the subscription. These subscriptions are a good choice for individuals looking to save on monthly Mystery Box Jr boxes (the longer the subscription, the bigger the savings).

There are no monthly payments for those subscriptions because the entire amount is paid in full when the subscription is set up.
3-, 6- and 12-month subscriptions renew once the term of the subscription is over, at which point another payment will be charged to the payment method on file.

All subscriptions can be cancelled by the 10th of the month when your subscription renews by emailing However, for subscriptions longer than 1 month, the amount orepaid for the subscription is not refunded, and you will continue to receive boxes until your cancelled subscription expires.

For example, you sign up on March 1st for a 3-month subscription. You pay upon placing the subscription order. Your first Mystery Box is shipped on March 15th. You receive your first box on March 18th. You enjoy your Mystery Box, but life gets busy and you decide to cancel in late April and email to request cancellation. Your subcription is cancelled right away, but you will still receive a May box, because you prepaid for 3 months (March, April and May).

Pausing a Subsctiption

If you are traveling or are otherwise engaged and would like to pause your subscription, please email us at to request that the subscription is paused by the 8th of the month. If you email us later, but before the subscription boxes are shipped on the 15th, we will do our best to honor your request to pause your subscription, but can not guarantee being able to accommodate it. If the request is received after the 15th, we will pause your subscription starting with the next month.
